Screw Attack recently let loose that it’s highly possible that the much well received Attack On Titan 3DS game: The Last Wings of Mankind. AoT sold out of its limited physical print run on multiple occasions making nearly 240,000 copies sold. The digital download amount is currently unknown, but like it’s physical twin the numbers are extremely impressive. Developed by Spike Chunsoft on the 3DS exclusively in Japan last December, AoT: The Last Wings of Mankind took the anime’s concept high-octane ziplining, sword-swinging, Titan-slaying action of the series and turned it into a colossal very well done hack-and-slash.
Looking to capitalize on the amazing fan base and the recently launch of the series on Cartoon Network’s Toonami anime night state side. Spike Chunsoft is now actively looking for a publishing partner to bring the game to the North America territories. Given the avid fan base the series earned during it’s run and its ability to remain popular afterwards, it is only a matter of time before we here start slicing through Titan neck.
