Fans who follow the Garo canon have something special to look forward to with a new six episode series launching this March in the form of Zero: Black Blood. The new series adds will star Ray Fujita, Riria, Takeko Naoki, Thane Camus, Nomoto Karia and Guadalcanal Taka and will premiere in Japan theaters between March 8 and 22, followed by the series later that month. The miniseries will be followed by release of Garo: Makai No Hana this April, and an original anime project Attack On Titan’s Yasuko Kobayashi as well.

SERIES DESCRIPTION:

Where there is darkness, there is light.
As long as evil exists in the heart of man,
Magical beasts will escape through the Makai Gate, to feed on their darkness and spirits.
This evening, again The Makai Knight, Rei, orders a sweet White Russian at Lupo, the bar run by Bakera,
With his partner Silva, he hunts Makai Horrors.They save people from the clutches of these magical monsters as protectors.
On that very day, a woman calling herself Yuna appears before Rei.
In order to defeat the Horror, Ring,uhh she has made contact to ask Rei to lend her his sword.
Ring is a Monster, but at the same time, to make his own perfect society, she says he has started on a dark path involving humans on his way.
Rei has no time for the words of this Yuna.
She plans an attack on Rei.To do that, she somehow gets a hold of a (his?) Makai sword, which shouldn’t be able to be touched by women.
Cain watches Rei and Yun fight with a smile on his face.
