A New Mode For the DJ Gun Revealed!

Last week, toy catalogue scans revealed Gaim’s third quarter toy offerings along with brand new form and weapon for the titular Beat Rider and that’s The DJ Gun! Since then, clearer images have popped up remixing new functions for the dub step weapon.

But first: a quick recap of what was revealed in the low rez images that were released last week starting off with the reveal of a new type of Lock Seed: The Kachidoki Lock Seed. The new image confirms that Kachidoki will be it’s own new category of Seed. Speculation is about that Kachidoki Arms might be Gaim’s final form and the rumored Energy Arms will be a mid series power up…but now for the main event!

The DJ Gun will have a secondary mode and function. First, the gun is capable of becoming a sword this sword can combine with the Musou Saber to form an even larger blade spanning 630mm.

If that weren’t enough, a dial above the gun’s trigger allows Gaim to switch to different firing modes from a machine gun like burst, a single laser shot, and finally a larger blast of course, switching the dial changes the accompanying noises from the toy itself.

Currently, both the DJ Gun and Kachidoki Lock Seed are slated to roll out in late March of next year. With the price tags of 5500 and 3000 yen respectively.

Special thanks to board member Saviour Den-O for finding these scans!
