Rumors: New Form and DJ Gun For Kamen Rider Gaim Revealed?

Get those shopping baskets ready, Beat Riders and prepare for the spring time harvest! New Kamen Rider Gaim toy catalog scans have surfaced from the depths of 2chan and without further ado, here is what the Armored Riders of Zawame City have in store for us in 2014.

The first of the images reveal yet another type of Lock Seed, say hello to K.L.S. 01 Kachidoki Lock Seed.  What makes the Seed stand out is that it doesn’t appear to share a noticeable connection to any type of fruit but instead “Kachidoki” is a kind of victory cry.

Of course, when Gaim utilizes this Seed he gains a new yet to be named form and weapon: the turntable-like DJ Gun. The form is shown silhouetted in the above scan, and seems to bare little resemblance to the one mirrored during the opening of the show.

Supposedly, K.L.S 01 and the DJ Gun will both be coming out in March. The Seed will cost slightly higher than most Lock Seed sets at 2000 yen, while the DJ Gun has the price tag of 5500 yen. As usual, please do take the above images with a grain of salt.

  • The shot in the opening is NOT a new form, it's never been a new form. It's the distorted image of Orange Arms seen through a reflective floor that's not purely flat. All of the other images in the opening that are mirrored (I.E. reflections not different people) are distorted. You can see the bend in the image of the bike near the axle and one again near the arms. The distortion in the floor near the helmet causes the optical illusion of the helmets crest lengthening. This has also been gone over to death, and it's news like this that keeps people bringing up stuff that's all ready been debunked over and over again.

      • We'll see, but I it looks clearly like three crests to me on a new form. Each time we've seen reflection in the opening it's been to show something else that hints toward more in the Gaim Universe. As a final stinger/punch of the opening I don't see them doing a dramatic pan down to reveal the same image, but distorted.

    • lol, you're right, if look again closely, the length of the left part and right part of the crest is different. and if you eliminate the pointy upward part it looks just like gaim's normal crest

  • Normally i'd agree on the- its just a reflection. But considering the crest appears to be simialr to Zangetsu with an additional point in the center that goes to around the same length. I think the primary reason people assume its a new form is simply due to the crest looking like its got 3 points that all point upward rather than Gaim's normal crescent shaped crest. However as its been stated about the opening scene in Episode one. Thats a possible outcome.

So Maybe the Gaim Reflection is just a manifestation of Gaim's potential, We saw 3 factions in the opening fight reflection gaim seems to have 3 points on his crest. Toei likes symbology in their shows and we know it.

On the topic of the DJ gun and Kachidoki lock seed- Design wise the KLS looks like its based on a family/warrior crest- like on flags seen behind characters in games like Sengoku Basara. Visually i still see an Orange- just more stylized.

  • Just want to clear something up: the new weapon isn't just called the "DJ Gun". its actual name is the Hinawa Daidai DJ Juu (meaning "Match Cord Big Orange DJ Gun")
