With the rebirth of the Digimon franchise on Nickelodeon happening it was only a matter of time before the Digimon Trading card game would re-emerge too. Lo and behold, come January 2014 the card game will come back from the digital realm!
Earlier this year we saw the rebirth of the long-dormant Digimon franchise when Nickelodeon decided to start airing the latest season of Digimon. Digimon Xros Wars is now known as Digimon Fusion in America and once again takes us on a journey through the digital world. Like the previous Digimon series, this will be receiving the card game treatment at the start of next year .
The new set, which will debut in January, is called New World. Along with the new set two starter decks will also be available, one featuring Shoutmon, lead Digimon for Team Xros Hearts, and the other is this series’ version of Greymon with team Blue Flare.
The main teams that will be represented in this set are teams Xros Hearts, Blue Flare, Twilight, and Bagramon Army

okay, there are some problems with this post. according to the facebook page, the Teams in the Digimon Fusion are called the Fusion Fighters, Blue Flare, Midnight, and the Bagra Army. only Blue Flare retains its japanese name

No they need to bring back the orginal style of the card games and the anime. This is rediculs it's like pokemon now and power rangers. The originals stories were great but now you dont even the "fusion" what ever happend to the digivolving?
