Garo Appreciation Day on November 23rd

A few days ago it was announced that Garo creator Keita Amemiya would like the fans in Japan to spend November 23 a little differently. He wants them to celebrate, naturally, all things Garo.

Usually celebrated as the holiday, Labor Thanksgiving Day (learn more here) he instead wants them to change the Kanji just a bit. Writing it one way means “Labor” written another way it means “Golden Knight”. TVNihon translated he video made for the announcement and thanks to them we know a few things

-It will be held in the CS Finally Theater and on Niconico on a live broadcast that will be shown throughout Japan.

-Amemiya will have a live drawing, not sure what the prize is.

-The cast of Yami o Terasu Mono (The One Who Shines in the Darkness) will be there

-And there will be a special Garo announcement

Now it’s possible that announcement is going to be a new season of Garo but we’ll have to find out when it airs.
