The nightmare continues…In the palm of your hand! That’s right soon Attack on Titan will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS this winter. We have the info on whose playable and game play elements. So come see how the mega hit anime translate into the portable gaming market!
Earlier in the year we gave a brief report that Attack on Titan would be heading to consoles under the name Attack on Titan: Wings of Humanity. Finally more information has been released in the form of a Nintendo Direct video and the brand new trailer revealing some very big news. First the Nintendo direct video shows off that you will be able to play as Mikasa, Eren, and Armin (why Armin and not Levi?). Secondly you play in an open type environment with the ability to swing around buildings Spider-Man style with your 3D-gear. The game will also come with anime cut scenes from the series as well as some of the cast reprising their roles from the series for the game.
The newest trailer that released yesterday gave even bigger news for the game. You have ability as Eren to be able to play in Berserk Titan mode which you can attack titans with punches and kicks. The game also shows off a create a character mode in which you can design your own character to take into multi-player and challenge mode missions known as “World Mode”. World Mode will set players up with both challenge missions and investigations to take their original characters on. Completing these missions will allow you to level up your characters stats and equipment.
Attack on Titan: Humanity’s Last Wings will be released this December 5 of this year for 6,090 yen.
