Space Dandy, the new outer space comedy anime from director Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo), will be dubbed and simulcast on Adult Swim in North America. This is the first time Adult Swim will have an anime series that is simultaneously broadcast with Japan. The English dub will be handled by FUNimation, and will premiere on January 4th at 11:30pm. Space Dandy is a 26-episode series following the adventures of the titular and every-fashionable hero Dandy as he travels through space and visits unknown worlds in search of aliens with his two sidekicks, a robot named QT and a cat-like alien named Meow.
