Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami teamed up with luxury makeup company Shu Uemura and launched a limited edition makeup line tied with Murakami’s magical girl animated short, 6♥Princess (pronounced “6 Heart Princess” and sometimes abbreviated “6HP”).
A three-minute animated short accompanied the announcement of the makeup collaboration depicting two magical girls battling head-to-head, Princess Pink and Princess Black. These two magical girl princesses show the available palettes for the new makeup line, highlighting both the cute and the sexy side in every woman.
The line includes two make up palettes containing matte and iridescent eyeshadows as well as blush in Heart-Ful Pink and Enchanted Black, a skin refining cleansing oil, and a lasting soft gel pencil, among others.
The line is currently available online in Japan only and will have an international release starting November 1st 2013, just in time for the end-of-the-year holidays.
Now anyone lamenting their inability to purchase products from the newest Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary “Miracle Romance” makeup line, some of which are Japan only through Premium Bandai, definitely can get their magical girl glamour on.
