If you’ve been following the MMPR Figuarts we’ve got some Morphinominal news for you! Internet Personality Vangelus had the opportunity to interview two representatives from Bluefin distribution, and they’ve shed some light on future Mighty Morphin releases.

First off, Adam Newman and Xavier Lim pretty much confirmed that the Yellow and Blue Rangers will be next in line to be made and that they’ll be offered as Web Exclusive figures in Japan. This is to be expected, following the release pattern for the Zyu/Mighty Morphin releases after Red and Green came out. It should be noted that a female buck for Yellow Ranger was shown off at SDCC, but it’s still unknown which version they’ll release for the North American market.

With the White Ranger and Armored Red having just recently been released, and Pink and Black on the near horizon the good news is that we’ll see the full team completed early next year.

But the good news keeps coming! Beginning at around 4:34 Vangelus beings talking about a Armored Black Ranger release as a possible exclusive for conventions. Both Adam and Xavier seemed pretty enthusiastic about the idea while they didn’t confirm it, this is a good sign that anything is possible!

The footage above is from Season 1 episode “An Oyster Stew” where Tommy allowed Zack to borrow his Dragon Shield to fight against Oysterizer and protect him from the monster’s toxic acid. This episode never aired in Zyuranger, and Toei created this footage to extend the life of MMPR.

Lastly, in an interview held by Tokunation, Bluefin stated that an S.H.Figuarts Lord Zedd is in development! But the bad news…he might not see a release. Of course, Bluefin might change this decision if the demand is there…so let’s spread the word and let Bluefin know that we want a highly detailed Lord Zedd on our shelves!
