For those that might’ve missed out on the SDCC exclusive Legacy Morpher we got good news for you: at NYCC Bandai that a retail version of the Morpher is coming next year and pre orders are now available for as of this article.
This version of the Morpher will cost about 60$ and will be shipping January 28 2014 the only notable difference is that this version will not include the chrome plate the SDCC one had and instead you’ll be getting one that’s much ore faithful to the show, of course the Green Ranger and White Ranger coins will be included made in die cast.
It should be noted that the Legacy Morphers now being released at retail had the audio changed to better match the SDCC version. A little button on the side of the Morpher opens and starts playing the iconic opening theme song from Mighty Morphin. The SDCC version fixed that by having the theme song play continuously without the need to press the button
