The leaked trailer is on the internet and it looks GOOD! This new American Godzilla seems to be taking on more of a horror angle versus the more… goofy angle of the 1998 “action” movie. Directed by Gareth Edwards (MONSTERS) this new Big G is set to destroy the world May 16th 2014.

A Minute Thirty, and it was still better than the entirety of the '98 version.
I wouldn't call 98 version goofy, just... bad XD. I look forward to this one tho
I think that it is a silly statement, to compare a moment of a movie trailer to a whole feature film. This Godzilla looks a lot more Godzilla-like than the 1st American attempt. Congratulations for that, even though it was not hard to improve on that. I will wait until I can see the creature, more fully before I conclude, but the pug-nose is a bit bothersome to me at the moment, giving a somewhat dog-like appearance. I like a more alligator look, personally.
They gave it more of a dragon type design as oppose to the surrogate long snout.
They...they canged Big G's roar. You just don't do that!
The roar sounds close enough to be distinctly Godzilla. The 1954 Godzilla sounded a bit different than later versions, while still maintaining the "rusty gate" sound.
Chills Chills Chills!
Hype Hype Hype!
2001 music, that's all I got to say ... damn that was good
Class 6 Kaiju!
CAN'T STOP FAPPING
Well, that's an odd fetish ya' got there... To each their own, I suppose.
It's a difficult row to hoe, but it works for me. Usually means I sleep through the last 20 or so minutes of any kaiju film, though...
It took me a while to put my jaw back in place be cause it dropped to the floor. I cannot wait!! (Better than the sex and the city horse's husband's movie)
