On September 7, 2013, Tsuburaya will release the Ultraman Ginga Theater Special. But it’s only going to be in select theaters. And it’s not much of a movie. From my research it’s going to be an overview of the first six episodes, a sneak peak of the second half of the series and a “special’ episode. Based on the trailer I’m assuming it has to do with the Tiga-Tyrant fight. And Dark Zagi from Nexus shows up as well. Not much is known about the plot of the actual special episode at this moment, but I guess we’ll find out the full story in a couple of weeks.

The special is being shown in a double bill with Giant Monster Rush: Ultra Frontier – Dino Tank Hunting. yes it’s the same Dino Tank form the original Ultraseven series. However a second special is penciled in for spring of 2014, after the second half of the series has aired.
