Just found this on my cyber desk this morning. I know that our first impressions or this was less that favorable, but I am now personally starting to come around. Making this so dramatically different from the OG Science Ninja Team is quite a risk, but I do have to say this Gurren Lagann meets Tiger & Bunny meets Person 4 aesthetic really does have my actual interest, versus an anime that was a more straight one to one remake. I’ll be checking it out. So what are your impressions now that we have this to see?

I was giving it a chance based on the director, and I agree that the more it deviates from the original, it stands a better chance to be judged on its own merits. It's certainly one of the few shows I'll follow this season, at least the first few episodes.
I don't now how to feel about th new asthetics... if I wanted Persona or Tiger&Bunny I will go for the original not gatchaman.
Aside from the jarring CG, it looks pretty rockin'.
I'm willing to give it a try. Wonder who's gonna sub it. Though I have a feeling this may be included in Section 23's recent Tatsunoko agreement.
