This week it’s the HJU Classic. Â Which do you prefer?
[Come battle it out in our Forums as we dissect this age-old mash up!]
It’s been discussed, considered and even argued at times…but who do you prefer: Super Sentai or Kamen Rider?
It’s franchise vs. franchise here. Â Take into account Showa era riders? Â Only rate the current “state of the shows”? Â Either way Super Sentai and Kamen Rider both stir up different kinds of feelings in toku fans all over. Â If you had to pick just one to side up with though…who and why?
You all know me…I say Go go, rider kick all the way.

It's a tough choice. The shows of course have their similarities and differences, and they each really have a lot to like.
I'd never have watched Rider if not for Sentai, and my appreciation for each grows as I watch more series.
For now I'm going to say Sentai, because Machiko Soga is, was, and shall always be badass.
l like both, but I Iike kamen rider overall. I rate each show individually however, but the style and presentation of the riders is what gets me
I don't believe in segregating into camps when it comes to superheroes. It leads too much to the kind of "my dad can beat up your dad" mentality that really goes against the idea of what a superhero is all about. It's superheroes, not the WWE.
Kamen Rider and Sentai are each cool in their own ways. The only time I feel anything resembling a preference really just depends if i'm more in the mood for a solo hero story on a particular day rather than a team one.
