Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle! – Trailer

We’ve got some major updates concerning the upcoming fighting game Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle! Find out more by clicking the link!First a small correction to the previous article. It appears that it was misreported that Caesar Zeppeli will be in the game. Despite several high profile sources confirming this all have proved to be false. Instead promotional images recently released has confirmed that it is in fact Caesar’s grand father and Jonathan’s mentor Will A Zeppeli(Yoku Shioya). So far only two attacks are known at this time, these are The Zoom punch and Ripple Finger Blast.

Some of Jonathan’s move list has been confirmed as well. Now on top of Ripple Zoom punch, he also now has Luck and Pluck slash. Luck and Pluck Slash is a downward slice move used by the sword Jonathan received from Legendary Dark Knight Buford. Thou not pictured Jonathan also is able to use  Burning Double Punch, which is the move used to destroy Dio’s original Body by setting his hands a flame. Finally Jonathan’s super move is Yellow Sunlight Overdrive which is his finishing move used on most of the series lower vampires such as Jack the Ripper.

 

Finally we get some new blood in the game as both the seventh and finally eighth Jojo make their debuts. Lame jockey Johnny Joestar (Yuki Kaji) from the alternate time line story, “Steel Ball Run” joins Gyro Zeppeli  with horse Slow Dancer and Stand Tusk.  It will be interesting to see how much Johnny does on his own as he is unable to use his legs. Finally released is the picture confirming the final Jojo of the series from Jojolion(Jo-Jo-Lee-On) Josuke Higashikata with Stand Soft & Wet (voice Mitsuaki Madono). Not much is known about him as he is only just announced.

We also now have confirmation on stages, price point for both regular and special edition the first bit of DLC to the game, as well as a release date. First the stages are listed as the following complete with their respective series.

  • Dio’s Castle (From Part 1:Â Phantom Blood)
  • Skeleton Heel Stone (From Part 2:Â Battle Tendency)
  • Cairo City (From Part 3:Â Stardust Crusaders)
  • Dio’s Mansion (From Part 3:Â Stardust Crusaders)
  • Moriō (From Part 4: Diamond Is Not Crash)
  • Rome (From Part 5:Â Vento Aureo)
  • Green Dolphin Street Prison (From Part 6:Â Stone Ocean)
  • Philadelphia Coastline (From Part 7:Â Steel Ball Run)
  • Wall Eyes (From Part 8:Â JoJolion

The price point of the game  will be will cost 7,980 yen about US$80 for the regular, while the limited edition will cost 16,980 yen about US$180.
The limited edition will come with a soundtrack CD, a gold art plate illustrated by manga creator Hirohiko Araki, and figures.Copies of the initial launch  will both include a Hayato Kawajiri (Part IV) memo pad and a code to download Part IV: Diamond is not Crash main antagonist Yoshikage Kira with Stand Killer Queen (voice Rikiya Koyama).

The game is set to release August 29th of this year.  A live  event was held yesterday in Japan to show case  the newest build of the game, so expect more news once footage of the event is released.
