The Girls Review an Epic JDrama Based on a Japanese Classic

Blade Dancer and angelicnoir are back at it again with another edition of Random JDrama Sunday! This time they’re tackling the epic two-part JDrama special of Satomi Hakkenden, based on 106 volume Japanese classic novel written in the 1800s. There’s samurai, super powers, an evil witch, battle monks, two random toku actor cameos, and practically a sword fight scene every 20 minutes. See the Girls’ thoughts after the jump.

To see more JDrama review every other week by Blade and Angie, check out Angie’s YouTube channel. If you want to see what other JDramas have been suggested, visit the Random JDrama webpage.
