Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: All Star Battle!

Recent updates to the highly anticipated Jojo fighting game have just been released. Find out who’s been announced and whose been confirmed thus far!

The recent issue of V-Jump magazine has announced that both Jonathan Joestar (Phantom Blood) and Caesar Zeppili (Battle Tendency) have officially been confirmed. They join the already expansive cast of the upcoming Jojo fighting game, “All-Star Battle”. While Dio Brando is confirmed as of the latest trailer, it shows he is in his “Stardust Crusaders” form. This being said, it seems Jonathan is the only person from the “Phantom Blood” arc to appear in the game. One confirmed move of Jonathan’s is his master Will Zeppili’s Zoom Punch. Which by using the power of ripple Jonathan is able to extend his arms to attack his opponent.

Caesar on the other hand joins partner Joseph Joestar and Villain Pillar Man Wham (Wamuu) to continue to grow the character list from the manga’s second chapter “Battle Tendency”. Much like the some of the game’s cast Caesar and Jonathan are voiced by their current actors in the 2012 anime series.

The current game roster stands at the following (Stands included where applicable)

Part 1 “Phantom Blood”

Jonathan Joestar (voice Kazuyuki Okitsu)

There are several characters that have only been announced via promotional materials and trailers. However, these characters are only either mentioned or hinted at currently, and has not had any formal appearance in either photo or video released thus far.

  • Japanese websites have actually been reporting it's William Zeppeli that was announced, not Caesar Zeppeli.

  • First of thanks for the comment Ryan. If you can provide the sites stating this I would appreciate it and make the appropriate changes. Meanwhile, I have done some digging and can not find anything about William being announced personally. It seems the translation about William is that Jonathan is using his signature move (Zoom Punch) and that Caesar is his grandson, but nothing about him personally being in the game. Again thanks for the comment.

  • No problem! Let me find you a few links! I'm glad to see JoJo finally getting some mainstream attention it so rightfully deserves, so it's nice to see this article!

As far as the information, there's no real confirmation one way or the other yet. Most Japanese sites that have posted the news are saying William, while the English websites are reporting Caesar. Let me go grab so info for you!

  • Well my translator is saying its referencing Will who taught Jojo the Zoom punch not that he is in the game.

  • I personally doubt that the USA will ever seen this game localized :( I might cosplay as Jotaro Kujo for San Japan sinister six! (Part 6 stone ocean jotaro)
