Following last year’s announcements of Kamen Rider novels, three of the novels have been released to mixed reviews. However, the fourth, Kamen Rider Kuuga was delayed until January 2013, but we’re now in January and there is still no news on it’s supposed release date.
Originally pre-orders were being taken for the novel when the amazon listing went up for it’s release on the 30th November last year with the other three in the first batch (Double, Kabuto & OOO). It was then pushed back to the 21st December, but on the day, the books did not arrive at stores and it was only the following day that it was announced they were pushed back to simply “January 2013”.
Now that we are in the ambiguous release month, retailers have had no new information on the novel; amazons listing is now no longer able to process pre-orders and is listed as out of stock. In addition, there is no new information on the remaining 8 Rider novels. The future of the remaining releases could possibly be looking bleak.
More news when we have it.
