Heisei Rider as Novels! The One Who Continues After Z!

According to the Japanese newspaper, Sports Hochi, the 12 Heisei Kamen Rider series will be receiving novels!

The novels will be released on several different different occasions. The first batch covers Kamen Rider Kuuga, Kamen Rider Kabuto, Kamen Rider W and Kamen Rider OOO. Naruhisa Arakawa has worked on over 20 Tokusatsu series for Toei, his recent work was in Akibaranger and Daimajin Kanon, he previously worked on the Kuuga show as a writer and will return to write the novel for Kuuga. Kabuto’s main writer, Shoji Yonemura, who has also worked on plenty of anime and tokusatsu series will write the Kabuto novel. Riku Sanjo will be back to write the W novel. While most novels will be written by their respective main writers, OOO’s novel will not be written by Yasuko Kobayashi, instead it will be written by Nobuhiro Mori, who only wrote 6 episodes for OOO (22-23, 33-36.) Den-O will be written by the producer Shinichiro Shirakura.
Sho Aikawa, the main writer for Kamen Rider Blade, tweeted that he would not be writing the Blade novel. He did receive an offer, but it was eventually cancelled.

Following the first batch, Ryuki and Agito written by Toshiki Inoue and Naohiro Okamuram, with Inoue as an editor respectively. They will be released January 31. Faiz and Kiva written by Toshiki Inoue and Kenji Konuta, will be released February 28. Hibiki (Tsuyoshi Kida) and Den-O (Shinichiro Shirakura) will be released March 29.  Blade (Junichi Miyashita) and Decade (Aki Kanehiro and Toshiki Inoue as editor) will be released April 26.

      • Hey I agree with RandomGuy. I would love to see an english translation of those books...well of Kabuto and W any way. They can leave OOO's and Kuuga alone lol. I don't really care for those particular shows.

    • I can gurantee that there will NOT be an official english translation. Just pray that some fan will be willing to give us plot summaries or full translations.

      • Ah man. And I was hopin to read some great adventures for W and Kabuto. Ah well. Maybe further down the line once the books are popular enough someone will do an english translation. Like Tokyopop. You hear that Tokyopop? Get to work on it. Lol.

  • >Ryuki written by Toshiki Inoue and Naohiro Okamuram, with Inoue as an editor respectively.
    > written by Toshiki Inoue
    >Inoue as an editor respectively.
Expect everyone to die pathetically and be thrown into water to drown pathetically as the characters avoid each others questions and beat around the bush.
