  • Interesting, Looking forward to seeing wizard in action.

wizard's final form color could possibly be in black as wizard as Olympic themed rings so far. Which in turn would make it like kuuga's final form and may be an uncontrollable ring like the lord of the rings ring. Could it be in the show a evil phantom ring ?

first episode ''your a wizard harry.... no I mean Haruto''

final episode'' lord of the wizard ring.. Return of the king''

  • First episode review

one of the most epic neo heisei rider first episode so far, the story in it is interesting and felt like in some parts of watching a showa toku to references to other heisei rider shows combined.

The belt transformation is very minimal but really gimmicky sounds. No complaints about it as the show is a 20 something minute kids toy commercial, and I think continues to advertise the kamen rider franchise well to the modern era.

The fight scenes are very well done, the first episode opening also reminded me of shinkenger's very first episode fight scene also and it's a giant step up. And the very beginning was like watching boukenger's very beginning scene .

The mixture of kiddyness humour and the seriousness of the show in the first episode is also well done.

I think the show had a Hong Kong, or even a little bit of china's armor hero vibe to it, from the theme song to the style of the show especially the red villain with the goatee.

Maybe TOEI is aware of it's asian (china, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea) market as a whole and not only relying on their own country to make money, as I think this will come out to some asian tv stations in 2 years time I guess.

A good first episode, hope the story progresses and have arcs that feel like different to each other and not dragged along to reach a 48- 50 episode mark.

Anyways, Cant wait for the next episode it's when the full story truly begins.

  • second episode thoughts
(If wizard was an adaptation it would be good as a british adaptation.)
it was an okay episode, we did get the back story on how haruto becomes wizard. And it's very interesting with the white wizard giving haruto the wizardriver and telling him that is must defeat the phantoms.

The opening felt like ryuki and the other heisei rider shows. It's great. But nothing special. the theme still rocks

The scene where the officer get was talking somebody, could not recognise the guy, is it long from gekiranger? If so he still looks like could be a villain in later arcs or more like a hojou from agito..

It seems haruto and shunpei's relationship reminded of ryuki's ren and shinji's.

And also hibiki's and asumu's too. Shunpei is very childlike while haturo is the a role model who he looks up to. The donut stall guys are cool, good diversity being not too comical but normal and vibrant in nature. They reminded me a bit of watcherman and santa chan from double so some reason.

When shunpei finds out that he's got magical powers, he's in shock. Well, we have to keeping on watching wizard find out about him

The fight scenes this episode not bad but fairly average (felt like watching in some parts like the badly edited batman begins fight scenes sometimes) and the way the monster of the week was killed off was disappointing, felt like a cop out. (the bike scene was like a wannabe double forever scene but failed at it)

The second episode is good but not as great as the first. It's great for a kids or others who are new or other's who havent seen kamen rider for a while to watch the show so far. but all this is been seen before and afraid the show might be fairly predictable.

Not gonna watch wizard but might watch it was the story further picks up half way the series or when the second rider comes up.

It's been a short ride so far

Who do they need for the action? koichi sakamoto and Makoto Yokoyama to name a few of course, the only one who can top wizard's fight episode fight scenes, modern day kamen rider shows needs them, his followers and imitators.
