News has been practically scarce about the new Garo movie, all we’ve seen is short teaser trailer with no real actually film footage and a behind the scenes video. The official site has posted about the flamboyantly dressed new character, Kakashi.
The movie takes place after the events of the series where Kouga had to leave the love of his life, Kaori, to go to the Promised Land to fulfill a promise with the mysterious being Gajari, to retrieve a piece of his body, now revealed to be called the Tusk of Grief.
Kakashi (ã‚«ã‚«ã‚·, meaning scarecrow), pictured above, is located within the main hall of the Promised Land. He is extraordinarily skilled with a sword, but is very childish in nature. Is he an ally or a enemy to Kouga?
Returning Makai Knights, Rei, Dan & Leo are back, but their roles in Kougas journey are still unknown. The movie is set to head to cinemas Spring 2013.

" Rei, Dan & Leo" is incorrect. It should say "Rei, Tsubasa & Leo". "Dan" was the Makai Knight title held by Tsubasa (the actual name of the character).
The actor playing Kakashi, Yuki Kubota, previously played the obnoxious actor/idol JURAN in episode 9 of Makai Senki. He was the guy who was eaten by the horror of that episode
