Fourze and Go-Busters Ratings!

New ratings are in as Go-Busters enters its second half and Kamen Rider Fourze is down to one more episode before Kamen Rider Wizard begins. Stick around after the jump for the numbers!

Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters episode 26 scored itself a 3.9% rating, up from last week’s 3.2%. It looks like the series is getting a bit of a bump as the final arc of Kamen Rider Fourze begins but it’s not enough to keep Go-Busters from claiming a pretty notorious title. As of this episode, Go-Busters has aired five consecutive episodes below 4% in ratings, this marks the longest span of episodes any Sentai has ever run that haven’t managed to score above 4%. The “honor” was previously held by Chouriki Sentai Ohranger in a run of episodes 22 through 25. Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters last reached above the 4% mark with episode 21. Since the airing of that episode, this is the closest the show has come to cracking into the 4% range once again. Admittedly, it’s only one episode more than Ohranger but it’s still not something you want to happen as it does drag down the average viewership from the series. Speaking of, with this episode the series now holds a 4.0% series average, lower than any other Sentai at the moment.

With only one episode of the series left after this, Kamen Rider Fourze episode 47 kicked off the final two parter of the series. Managing to just barely climb about episode 46’s 4.9%, Kamen Rider Fourze episode 47 scored a 5.1% in numbers. It’ll be interesting to see where the numbers for the final episode go once that airs. Since the airing of Decade, only one series, Kamen Rider OOO, has managed to score higher ratings with its final episode than its penultimate. While it won’t do much to help Fourze, which is going to end with the title of least viewed Kamen Rider series (taking the title from Kamen Rider Kiva, which held a 6.2% series average) with a current average of 5.9%, it would be nice to see a bump of interest in the final moments of the series. Hey, maybe that Kengo cliffhanger will bring people back?

  • Is it wrong I'm chuckling at seeing Fourze is going to possibly be the least viewed Rider series? Though it's sad to hear my favorite Rider, Kiva, was the original least viewed. I honestly can't say I'm surprised, though. Fourze was so painful to watch at times for tone, for characters, even looking at the Rider is still painful. I already know Wizard will be better, atleast for me. I'm just hoping the ratings show the same.

  • Can anyone share the ranking of all kamen riders based on their ratings? I'm kinda curious about it...
