Super Hero War Opens At #1

Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero War topped the Japanese box office in its opening weekend.  355,985 people saw it on 292 screens for a total of ¥41,0038,450.

Super Hero War also topped Cinema Pia’s satisfaction ranking poll, while A Letter to Momo and  We Were There took second and third respectively.  Here are some comments from people who saw Super Hero War:

  • It was really interesting.  The battle at the end was great!  (age 7)
  • Kamen Rider Fourze was cool! (age 8 )
  • Old characters appear alongside the newer ones, so people of all ages can enjoy it.  (age 30)
  • It was like a compilation of all tokustasu hero movies.  (age 30)
  • I was overwhelmed by the heroes filling the screen.  (age 35)
  • I’ve been watching these heroes since I was a kid.  Seeing them cross over like this was like a dream.  (age 44)
