The DVD box set of the Heisei era of Ultra Seven has been announced and ready for release next month. The Heisei version of Ultra Seven began in 1994 and was a re-imagining of the hero that was set after the series, ignoring the Ultra Heroes altogether.
Ultra Seven was portrayed by for the most part Katsuyuki Yamazaki in this series run. The huge 16 disc epic box set is priced at 40,740円($500/£314), including all the specials and movies from 1994-2002. The set comes with a 32 page booklet with cast and crew interviews. Available from retailers on the 18th April.
