Yesterday, the official site released the first image revealing the suits of the new adult themed Unofficial Sentai Akibarangers. Today we have the shots of the FiguArts toys to accompany the series.
The figures currently have no release date nor scheduled price, but we now know the names of the team, Akiba Red, Akiba Blue and Akiba Yellow.
The Unofficial Sentai Akibarangers are a trio of heroes who live in the otaku centre of Tokyo, Akibahara. When evil appears, they transform and fight to save their home. It’s unrelated to the main Super Sentai universe and targeted mainly at adult fans of tokusatsu. The tagline for the show even is “Good little kids shouldn’t stay up late to watch this!” .
Yesterday we found out there will be two Tamashii events featuring the Akibaranger, but there will be no goods for sale. There will be an exclusive chance to see the first episode and it will strictly be no under 15 year olds allowed. The dates are 31st March and 1st April at Bellesalle in Akihibahara which is used regularly for Tamashii events.
