The new Unoffocial Sentai Akibarangers from Bandai’s Tamashii Nation exclusive toy line, an adult side series planned to begin airing in April of this year and now we know what they look like.
The previous image we had of the unofficial team was silhouettes that looked like three characters untransformed, but as the new picture reveals, the anime style hairdos are actually part of the suits.
The Unofficial Sentai Akibarangers are a trio of heroes who live in the otaku centre of Tokyo, Akibahara. When evil appears, they transform and fight to save their home. It’s unrelated to the main Super Sentai universe and targeted mainly at adult fans of tokusatsu. The tagline for the show even is “Good little kids shouldn’t stay up late to watch this!” .
There’s several tokusatsu and anime veterans working behind the scenes on this, including director Ryuta Tazaki (Kamen Rider Agito, Ryuki & Faiz), director/character designer Keiichi Satou (Karas, Tiger & Bunny), writer Naruhisa Arakawa (Kamen Rider Kuuga, Spice and Wolf, Steel Angel Kurumi), and composer Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell, Death Note, Eden of the East).
[UPDATE] – New image released today showing more of the costumes.
There will be two Tamashii events featuring the Akibaranger, but there will be no goods for sale. There will be an exclusive chance to see the first episode and it will strictly be no under 15 year olds allowed. The dates are 31st March and 1st April at Bellesalle in Akihibahara which is used regularly for Tamashii events.

Now, when you say 'adult', is this supposed to be some sort of sexy parody of tokusatsu, which involves nudity and fan service and maybe even sex, like a porno?
Well, it's exactly like that except no nudity or sex or like a porno. Fan service is most likely there though.
It's mostly just fanservice probably. Toei wouldn't want to associate Super Sentai with porn.
