Interview with (Decade)Masahiro Inoue and (DiEnd)Kimito Totani

The return of Kimito Totani’s Diend was confirmed in the latest issue of  Hyper Hobby. Together with Masahiro Inoue, the actor of Decade, both were asked to an interview on how they felt about the upcoming Super Hero War movie in the magazine, Toei Hero MAX.

This is what the pair of them had to say:

Question in bold, answers in plain text.
HH: Did any of you think that Decade would somehow continue on?
Masahiro: I honestly thought the role as Tsukasa was long over. So when I heard the news, I was so surprised. But to be able to be a hero for the children once more, makes me so happy.
Kimito: I agree. But then again, Diend had the “Super Den-O Trilogy.” So, in my head, I kind of thought Diend has his chance for more.
M: About that, I still haven’t seen the movie.
K: I knew you wouldn’t go see it! (laughs)
HH: Speaking of which, Diend Complete Form’s Final Attack Ride is a must see, don’t you agree?
K: He summoned all the movie-exclusive Riders and attacked at once.
M: Even Kamen Rider Arc? That seems kind of harsh. (laughs)
K: Harsh? Did that just come from Decade? (laughing together)
HH: Let’s get back on topic, what was your first impressions when you read the script?
K: If I’m going to give a completely honest comment, I’d have to say I didn’t really understand it. (laughs)
M: I agree. There was just so much katakana that I didn’t understand. (laughs)
K: Yeah, this time they even added Sentai stuff to the pile. I don’t know if you are allowed to write this in the interview, but at the end when XX becomes YY seems interesting.
HH: I’m not allowed to write about that yet. (laughs)
K: Oh, you can’t? (laughing together)
M: You should have known it yourself, there’s barely any information about the movie to the public. (all three laughs)
K: Oh well, but at the very least I can say that Daiki will definitely do some big things. (laughs) I’m also sure Daiki loves Tsukasa. Like, he really loves him. I’m talking about  the Boys Love kind of love.
M: Please stop that. (laughs) This is what I think, but Tsukasa is very arrogant and Daiki is constantly bothered by that.
K: I think they have mutual arrogance.
HH: This time, Tsukasa is the Great Leader again. Doesn’t he look the same as he did in “All Rider VS Great Shocker?”
K: I’m sure the hairstyle was pretty much the same too.
M: Tsukasa’s hair does tend do stick out doesn’t it? But his outfit is actually a little bit different from All Rider
K: Huh, really!?
M: Yeah, they actually remade the jacket.
K: What’s different about it?
M: (Stands up) Look carefully, what do you think?
K: The material…?
M: The mark around chest.
K: What’s different about it?
M: It doesn’t say DCD under the bird.
K: That’s it?
M: Pretty much. (laughs)
K: Seems like we are running out of time, but all I can say is that this movie is going to be great. I think it’s going end here though.
M: The only ones we have left to fight are the Pretty Cures.
K: Anime and live action? That’s going to be huge mess.”
