Now for something a little different. Our resident Australian board member, The Scream Man, known for his excellent action figure podcast, The Fwooshcast, takes over the mic to give you nothing but hot buttered tokusatsu talk minus myself and Vangelus, but loaded with prime HJU Heroes like Lynxara, Blade Dancer and the immortal IgaDevil who provided the above graphic and the nifty one you’ll see on the mp3 itself.

This will be a podcast series of specials that will try to be an overall retrospective of all the tokusatsu shows we know and love. Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Super Sentai and Other Toku Shows will be covered.

Make no mistake, HJU Radio hasn’t gone anywhere. I’m in Los Angeles for the next couple days meeting up with some friends (the other night I was at a party where I talked toys with Seth Green and the Team Unicorn girls) and next week I roll on down to San Diego to Comic Con. Tomorrow I have breakfast with Judd Lynn and Tuesday I’m suppose to meet up with Steve Wang. So I’m pretty busy, but once I get back I’ll be getting the team together for some more regular reviews and geek talk.

Just means you’re podcast feed is going to get a whole lot fuller. So sit down, make yourself some ramen and enjoy the show!
