Just got done playing a couple hours of this and plan on playing a couple more. This game is freaking perfect for fans like us. First thing OG EDF fans will notice is they chucked the old school Japanese sci-fi aesthetic, but fear not. In it’s place is what feels like mech anime meets Starship Troopers with modern Tokusatsu feel and action. The game is out and on top of making a badical fun game, the folks behind this were smart enough not to try and punk potential fans with a full on 60 dollar release. You can snag this up for a cool 39.99 and it’s worth it.

All I wish is that they’d drop some more skins, so that you COULD choose the old school aesthetic or don the armor of some other monster fighter we all admire.

This game also sports an easy to use co-op, so you and up to three of your other monster hating pals can jam together and take down some giant bugs, evil robots and space ships.

Freaking love this game and should be playing some more in juuuust a few minutes. 😀
