Goseiger Comes Back In V-Cinema Sequel

Toei seems to be going sequel-happy. Goseiger is going to follow in the footsteps of Shinkenger with its own V-Cinema sequel special called Come Back! Goseiger: The Gosei Angels are National Idols?! The special will hit Japanese rental stores on DVD June 10, followed by a general release on June 21. There’s no Blu-Ray release announced yet.

The sequel looks like it’s going to share a lot of Come Back! Shinkenger’s emphasis on wacky comedy. In the special, something happens to make the Goseigers’ existence so obvious to the general public that there’s no chance of using Memory Wash to erase people’s memories. So the Goseigers have to deal with typical problems that come with celebrity while also trying to defeat King BiiBii, who (naturally) has a connection to the BiiBii Bugs that appeared in the series.

To be honest, I have no idea what’s going on in most of these new publicity images since the sequel is introducing a bunch of characters who weren’t in the show. Still, they’re all waiting behind the cut. Check out more Come Back! Goseiger discussion at the official HJU thread. Thanks to HJU user Gold Samurai for posting the images!
