Koichi Sakamoto Responds to HJU Radio #19!

Koichi Sakamoto the lead action director of Power Rangers and the director of the phenomenal Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie and of course the equally phenomenal Kamen Rider W: Forever A to Z the Gaia Memories of Fate…. has come to the Halls of Justice.

“Hey!

I really enjoyed listening to HJU Radio #19. I am glad you guys liked Kamen Rider W: Forever!

It’s funny you guys picked on the part when the helicopter pilot says “Kamen Rider” just like from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. It was my inside joke for KRDK fans! Also Accel’s RPM move! Most of people in Japan never seen Power Rangers and I did so many tricks in the series so I wanted to introduce some of them to Japanese fans by showing it in Kamen Rider shows.

I did Accel’s RPM move once during Kamen Rider W Episode #28 (Invisible) when Accel and Fang fought Weather. FYI, Shotaro jumping off the bike is in fact from Power Rangers Mystic Force. ;D

I am finishing up post production of “Kamen Rider W Returns Accel and Eternal” now and it should be done soon. Please check them out when it comes out!

Thanks!!
Koichi Sakamoto”

If you enjoyed hearing from him there…. you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. 😉
