It starts off with OOO fighting a monster. Except this monster isn’t a Yummy like the usual monsters OOO fights. This monster is actually the Mole Imagin. Suddenly the DenLiner appears. Kotaro walks towards a child and the pass shows the date November 11, 1971. Why does this child have memories from 40 years ago?
All of this confuses Eiji and Ankh, they have no idea what’s going on and sneak into the DenLiner. The two of them follow the Den-O crew 40 years back to the past. When the sly Ankh finds out that they are going to the past, he starts planning. He wants to find all the Medals before the other Greeeds wake up from the seal. However, New Den-O defeats the Mole Imagin and it explodes. The impact of the explosion causes Eiji to fall on Ankh and Ankh drops a Cell Medal. No one noticed that one Cell Medal fell out and it rolls out of the train.
