THE LOVE AND LOGIC THAT IS CLEARED NOW

Ryotaro has leapt to the day in which Sakurai Yuuto disappeared, and what he witnessed was Sakurai as Zeronos being defeated and Airi being sucked up by the Imagin destroyed world. In the middle of the resulting wasteland, Kai madly celebrates that he has finally taken the past and Yuuto and Ryotaro just watch, dazed.
Airi’s existence in the present seems to have been possible with Ryotaro’s memory as a starting point.
However, what could the words Airi left before disappearing (“In the future, surely…”) have meant?
Ryotaro desperately tries to recover that last shard of his memory that won’t come back.
