File this under “old as hell” news, but I know that more and more people out there are hearing the name “Kamen Rider Dragon Knight” on the wind. And with it, more and more people are clicking us up to check in on what this is all about. So I thought I’d post this up for posterity.
Gone is Matt Smith the original Kit and…. brace yourself people….. gone is Kandis Erickson the beloved original Maya that stole all our hearts. We here at HJU wish them both the best, and personally I hope they both get recast someday in future episodes of Kamen Rider. I mean, how hot would and Evil Female Rider be, played by Kandis?!
In their place, new challengers have arisen to take up the mantle of Kit the Dragon Knight and Maya. They are Stephen Lunsford and, you just might have heard it here first folks, the name of the new Maya is Yvonne Arias. Stephen’s showed up on shows sucht as Bratz and Zoey 101. Yvonne has been seen as Nurse Martinez on one of my favorite shows, SCRUBS, and even appeared in little known Dungeons & Dragons movie called, Gamers. A little birdie told me that filming is rolling along just prime, two episodes are in the can and that the new cast is having a blast doing up the soon to be releases American version of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
Like I said, most of us already know, but I thought I’d put this up here for what newcomers we might be seeing in the coming months. In the mean time, to wet your visual whistle, hit the jump and check out the trailer featuring the former heroes of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
